Even when living happily with Roger, his sweet, sexy violinist boyfriend, Fletch can’t resist an occasional taste. Too bad you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s thrown you out for cheating with half the cast of Disney on Ice.
Two years and a chance meeting later, Fletch desperately wants Roger back. Roger’s new boyfriend, Jeff, will do anything to stop that from happening. But Fletch has a plan to make amends. And with a little help from friends, colleagues—even Roger’s Scottish terrier, Haggis—they might find that the love you don’t believe in can sweep you right off your feet . .
REVIEW:
Ok. So a couple of things. First and foremost, I love this book. I love this series. Just don’t do what I did and read it ass backwards. Yes, I read book 2 first. It will give you preconceived notions. Don’t do that lol. Get the whole story. Second, the blurb can be a little misleading. There is no actual cheating in the book. I read some of the reviews and people aren’t giving it a chance because of that. Don’t do that. It’s a serious and yet funny book. You’ll get a kick out of Tommy. Yes I recommend this book. And the series.
Fletch knew he had screwed up the one serious love he had. It’s been almost two years since he and Roger split, and he still thinks of Roger all the time. When he with his latest sugar daddy at an opera, he sees Roger again with his best friend, Tommy, and the world seems to stop. The look that Roger gave him, for once in his life, made him feel really ashamed of being such a slut. It opened his eyes to a lot of things, and after some time and talking to Tommy, he knows he has to make things right. But Roger has a boyfriend, even though everyone thinks he’s an ass. And Fletch has to admit to himself that he really does want Roger back. But Roger isn’t so forgiving. No matter how miserable he is and has been. Fletch does all he can to get back into Roger’s good graces, and comes to realize how much he really loves him. It’s a hard road, with lots of ups and downs, but Fletch keeps trying. Hoping against hope, in the end, it will be worth it.
Ok. So I had a hard time with the book. Lol. Because no matter how hard I tried, I did go into this book with preformed opinions. And I had to keep reminding myself not to do that. Well, eventually it must have worked because for a while my opinions changed. While reading this, I actually hated Fletch for a while. A long while. I felt bad for Jeff even more. Until Jeff pulled a serious dick move. And no, I’m not telling. It probably wasn’t until close to the end of the book, that I really started to like Fletch. When I saw him cry, I knew then he was truly repentant and miserable. Yeah, I lost it. Seeing a man truly, honestly crying kills me. Roger got the raw deal out of all this though. He’s been put through the wringer, not once but three times!! Twice by Fletch and once by Jeff…Rey. Although Jeff wasn’t as big of a deal. And on top of those two, losing his job. He didn’t really like the job much anyway, but he felt like he was going through a midlife crisis or something with it all and it was just too much. Roger needed a vacation, I think lol. And definitely not Cancun lol. (Read the book and you will get that comment.)
So glad I got to go back and read this book. I’m hoping now there will be a book 3 in this series because Tommy needs some lovin. Javier maybe? Lol. Go read this series!! Happy reading!
