Hello there! A bit belated on this monthly post because I was travelling to Los Angeles yesterday to join Dreamspinner Press at the LA Times Festival of Books. Check out the schedule of book signings. I’ll be doing mine tomorrow – maybe I’ll see some of you there!
I’m very happy to be here and to be staying with my good friend Roberta. She was one of my early readers who encouraged me to keep going with this writing lark. So important to have those encouragers in our life! Dreamspinner is giving 30% off all titles of attending authors this weekend: CJane Elliott Dreamspinner.
ALL THE WAY TO SHORE AUDIOBOOK RELEASE
The audiobook for All the Way to Shore released on Audible yesterday and I got to listen to it on the plane. I love it! The narrator, Tim McKiernan, did a wonderful job, and sent me an email that touched me so much. Here’s part of it: I’ve narrated quite a few romance titles now and I wanted you to know that I found a genuine sweetness in your work and underneath your story had the feel of someone with a real affinity for life and possibility and it was a treat to be able to read something with an underlying sense of optimism throughout.
And last bit of news is that I have a contract for a new story, The Kinsey Scale. It’s a contemporary novella set at a college with a forced roommate situation, pretend boyfriends, secret relationships, and more. I had fun writing it and I look forward to sharing it with you when it releases this fall.
Take care!
