I love Jordan’s worldbuilding, whether it is a creepy town in MA with merpeople or a world where demons exist and must be exorcised.

I love Jordan’s books. In fact, I have most of her books in paperback as well as ebook (not this series yet). What I love most about her books is her ability to create believable characters and her amazing world-building skills. Whyborne and Griffin are one of my fav M/M couples ever!

Jordan L. Hawk is one of my most favorite authors. I love how she is equally good at world building, plotting and character building. I just devour her books.

I discovered Jordan L Hawk quite late on, so haven’t read the Whyborne and Griffin or the SPECTR series(although I have SPECTR volume 1 in audio). And to be honest the sheer volume of catching up is seriously intimidating. I started reading her with the first Hex book and it is one of my favourite series out there.

I have read only few of her books but the ones that I read had such amazing plots that is really hard to put them down.

I would read anything by Jordan. With my loving historicals, I really enjoyed in Whyborne and Griffin how she depicted in that time period so well.

Jordan is an author who has been on my ‘must read as I’ve heard so many good things about her writing’ list for ages. I’m very happy that she’s offering world wide shipping as there are so many contests I can’t enter because I’m not in the US.

I haven’t read the SPECTR series yet but love love Whyborne & Griffin series. The world and character building is fantastic. I enjoy seeing how she incorporated that period in time with the world she was/is creating.

I haven’t read all of her series, only her Spirits series, which reminds me of KJ Charles’ books. Not that they are the same besides having the historical setting, more like the way both authors can transport you to the pages and enjoy the ride.

I must read her other books – only read Hainted and the Spectr series 1 so far. I really enjoy the interplay between the 3 main characters.

While reading Jordan’s books I’m transported back to a time in history, that is even more fraught with danger for those than LGBT community faces today. Add in mystery, intrigue and some spine-tingling moments and I find myself reading well into the night. I love her main characters and can’t wait to see what conundrums they find themselves solving! The Whyborne & Griffin series has been my favorite so far.

The first book I read was Hexbreaker. It was on discount and I hadn’t heard of the author before, so I thought that would a great time to try one her books. I was blown away. I loved the characters, I loved the way the book was written, I loved the worldbuilding. It’s one of those books where you start reading and you cannot put it away. I think none of the books I have read so far got less than four stars on goodreads from me. I guess if an author manages to satisfy you on that level, you will always come back.
Haven’t started on the second Spectr series yet, but found the first series refreshing. Had a lot of elements I like in a book up to the point where I had to put one of the books away for the night, because I was creeped out by it^^;; Widdershins was also a lovely book, but I haven’t found the time to read the rest of the series yet.
