When LC sent me the draft cover for The Eager Boy she had two versions. The one I had asked for, which had the image of a man inside a motorcycle helmet, with the background that all the Iron Eagle Gym stories share. Then she had one with the image of a man inside the helmet, but the helmet was being held by a leather clad guy. Which I loved even though the other one technically fits the series covers better.
Sometimes you just have to go with the better cover, even if it isn’t 100% the same or what you asked for. Because often, the cover artist knows what you really want 😉
