TITLE: Twisted and Tied
SERRIES: Marshals #4
AUTHOR: Mary Calmes
PUBLISHER: Dreamspinner Press
LENGTH: 266 pages
RELEASE DATE: March 13th 2018
BLURB:
Deputy US Marshal Miro Jones finally has everything he ever wanted. He’s head-over-heels in love and married to the man of his dreams, his partner Ian Doyle, he’s doing well at work, and all his friends are in good places as well. Things are all tied up nicely… until they’re not.
Change has never been easy for Miro, and when situations at work force the team he’s come to depend on to break apart, and worst of all, his and Ian’s individual strengths put them on two separate paths, he’s pretty certain everything just went up in smoke. But before he can even worry about the future, his past comes for a visit, shaking his world up even more. It’s hard to tell what road he should truly be on, but as he learns some paths are forged and others are discovered, it might be that where he’s going is the right course after all. If he can navigate all the twists and turns, he and Ian might just get their happily ever after.
REVIEW:
I love Mary Clames. It would probably be more accurate to say I LOVE Mary Calmes. Her brain is the home of wonderful wonderful stories. My favourite is probably still Frog, but this series really is a very close second. As you would expect the book is fabulously written. It has Ms. Calmes usual writing style and flare. I can not probably gush enough over this book.
As requested, this review has no spoilers. Which makes it a hard review to write and makes it hard to gush as much as I want.
The things I love are too many to list and probably break my no spoiler clause. But lets start with Sam Kage. He remains a powerful character who you can’t help but be drawn too. This book isn’t about him, but you see him on and off. It is very possible I will go on and read his and Jory’s story as soon as I finish this review.
I also love that Miro and Ian start this story married. You can read the free story here
I also loved the journey that you are taken on in this book. I just kept turning page after page after page. I just couldn’t put the story down. As the blurb suggests, there are changes aplenty. Lots of things happening and many decisions to be made. But throughout all of that Miro and Ian are strong fabulous characters who capture your heart.
Overall, I am in love. Lots of love from this series and the fabulous writing of Ms. Mary Calmes. You won’t be disappointed with picking up this book. If you haven’t started the series, then do that. You will enjoy every moment. (have I fan girled enough? I feel like I have)
