REVIEW:
Its been a while since I’ve read a book featuring bdsm and this was a nice way to slip back into that type of story. Geoff’s life is a little bit of a mess and the only way he’s found that he can decompress is by stopping by Club Endless and finding a Mistress that can take him out of his head for a little while. Desperate for some kind of release and practically bursting at the seams from the stress, it comes as an unwelcome blow to find out there are no Mistresses available, only Masters. Dom Deacon can see how badly Geoff needs to de-stress and offers his services in place of Geoff’s normal female preference; despite his original plan to tell Deacon no, Geoff instead surprises himself and says yes.
This was a fairly decent introduction to a new series; I liked the characters and the little I got to see of the club scene. Geoff is pretty adamant in the beginning about what he wants and it was nice seeing Deacon show him that what he wants isn’t necessarily what he needs. The bdsm is fairly light in the book and the story revolved more around the two main characters getting to know one another while Geoff came to some realizations about himself. I was perfectly okay with that! With the foundation the author laid down here for the series, I’m sure I’ll get to see Deacon and Geoff branch out more in future books as they explore their relationship and Geoff’s submissive side.
If you enjoy your bdsm books on the lighter side I’d recommend checking this one out.
