Alex is a Science teacher, an alpha new to the local high school. He’s not looking for an omega, he’d rather be a free spirit than settle down with a clingy omega.
Harry is shocked and furious, when the hot new teacher turns out to be the bully that made his life hell in middle school. After an explosive reunion, the principal realizes he’s got a problem on his hands, and comes up with a way to solve it.
They’ve got one weekend to learn how to get along…or someone is out of a job.
This is a 33,000 word story of male pregnancy with a HEA. This is book 3 in the Baby Makes Three series, but can be read as a stand-alone.
REVIEW:
I have really enjoyed this series however this was not my favorite.
Harry has been a successful and admired English teacher at a prestigious private high school. He has also been lonely and feels like he will never find his Alpha. Alex is the new science teacher and can’t figure out why the hot young English teacher seems hell bent on ignoring his existence. When a faculty basketball during spirit week goes awry the principal realizes that he has a real problem on his hands that isn’t going to go away. He gives the two an ultimatum…get your act together and work this out or there will be much worse consequences that a day’s suspension. But how will Harry ever learn to trust Alex, let alone learn to get along with him, after what Alex did to him in his past.
I know that these two are teachers but they behaved like the kids that they are suppose to be an example to! I don’t know of any school I worked at that would have put up with their pettiness, well more so Harry’s lack of growing up and forgiving the past.
This book had several HELLO moments:
- You are the teacher and you are an example to your students so grow up and work out your problems in a professional manner!
- Alex’s rich parents realized they made a mistake and let 10 years go by without searching for their son? Have you never heard of a private investigator???
- You go to meet your long lost son and his partner uninvited while said partner is in the hospital in labor?
- You have unprotected sex the first time that you hook up and then say “oh well, if you’re pregnant that’s great because you are my omega now”??? What kind of example is that for your students?
As I stated, I have really enjoyed this series but this book just didn’t do it for me as much. I liked Alex and routed for him to get through to Harry. Harry was a nice guy but I couldn’t stand that he was holding a grudge since middle school! For teachers, who communicate well to students for a living, these two flunked Relationship Communication 101 big time!
