BLURB:
Detective Andreas Ruffner is no fool—he’s found a man who loves him, puts up with him, and has stuck with him through hell and back, and it’s time to put a ring on it. Darren Corliss is the love of his life, and he wants the whole world to know it.
Now the fun part—the wedding!
Well, after the not-so-fun part of planning the wedding in between dealing with overbearing and impossible-to-please family members. With future mothers-in-law driving them both up a wall, the guest list growing out of control, and the wedding getting ever more complicated, Darren and Andreas have to wonder if they’re in over their heads.
But they’re going to make it to the altar if it kills them . . . and at this rate, it just might.
REVIEW:
Andreas and Darren are back, but things take a bit of a different turn for them this time around. Each installment thus far has been pretty intense with them being put through the ringer a time or two, so this segment not having any of that is kind of a nice break for the guys. At least workwise that is. Personal life is another story.
As they move forward with their relationship, both know they want nothing more than to be married to one another. But, to keep their respective family members (namely the moms) happy, they agree to the whole shebang. What ensues is quite a bit of crazy as the men are faced with one thing after another with the wedding plans.
One of the biggest hurdles is Darren meeting Andreas’ parents, and let’s just say that he definitely got the short end of the stick in the in-law deal. Thankfully, Andreas doesn’t let it go on too long before taking care of things and they are all able to move along.
These authors have created an amazing series with these guys, and while this final installment didn’t have quite the same intensity as the previous books, it was a perfect ending for these two men who definitely deserved some rest, relaxation and the time to really focus on their relationship. I have loved this from the start and really don’t want to say goodbye to these guys. Maybe we will see some more of them in the future. I highly recommend this entire series if you enjoy action/suspense cop stories where the men turn out to be the perfect fit for each other.
