It’s that time of year again people. The time where we, the voracious and obsessive readers of LGBTQ romance, look back and reflect on what an amazing year of books it’s been. If you’re anything like us then you’re already compiling your 2018 “To Read” list, but first, let’s share some of our favourite books from the year just gone.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be posting our top reads of the year. Please feel free to tell us your own favourites, or simply comment on our choices.

CINNAMON
The Ties That Bind by S. Davidson
This book gutted me. If I have to pick one book from 2017, this would be it. This is not a romance but the best, most moving and emotional read I have had for a long time. This ride will forever stay with me and not sure my heart and soul could ever recover.
Guys On The Bottom by Darien Cox
Guys on the Bottom was a great surprise. I love Darien and this series and this was a great addition. I love seeing life or a fictional universe from different points of views, through different characters. Guys on the Bottom gives a hallily ever after to a character we previously didn’t really care for. Now we get his side of story and see that everyone deserves happiness.
A Love Song For The Sad Man In The White Coat by Roe Horvat
Finding new authors is always a wonderful experience. Roe Hoevat is one of my new favorites and 2017 is his debut year. Dirty Mind was my first book by him, but Love Song is definitely one of the best love stories I have ever read.
This next book is also by a new to me author
It had a great style, amazing chemistry and a fun, fascinating plot with two lovable MCs. Loved every minute of it.
This is one of the best menage stories I have ever read. Boris is one of my all-time favorite characters and the writing is phenomenal. A definite must read if you love menage stories and out of the norm characters.
PS by Caraway Carter has a very unique style and plotline. It’s quirky, witty and full of the best humor I have come across for a long time.
P.S. I Spook You by S.E. Harmon
S.E. Harmon was another new to me author and this was an amazing, unique book. The story-line is perfectly balanced with enough action and excitement, sizzling chemistry and lovable characters. I fell in love with the MC right away and I am carrying him in my heart forever.
This year was full of new writers for me. Agnes Moon is an Italian author and Kevan Hauser di an amzing translation of this gripping, truly fascinating story. If you enjoy a bit of paranormal, this will be a great read for you. Although my usual reads are contemporary, I simply couldn’t put it down.

Hope you enjoy them. Hugs

Great list i have some on my ereader waiting to be read 😉 One of my favorites books i read in 2017 is: Where the Allegheny meets the Monongahela by Felicia Watson
Lily Morton and Roe Horvat were two of my biggest discoveries from last year, amazing authors. I know the others except Agnes Moon but the book sounds good! *runs to get it*.
