If you’re anything like us then you’re already compiling your 2018 “To Read” list, but first, let’s share some of our favourite books from the year just gone.
Over the next few weeks we’ll be posting our top reads of the year. Please feel free to tell us your own favourites, or simply comment on our choices.

BRIANNA
Audio: Training Season by Leta Blake, Narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo
Matty has gone through so much in his life and still has wonderful dreams to accomplish. He is strong and a bit funny, hard working and romantic. Training Season was written and narrated so well. I loved reading about him getting cozy in the house he is house sitting for. So much fun!!
Audio: Daily Grind by Anna Zabo, Narrated by Iggy Toma
I love a well written “newly gay feelings” trope 🙂 Plus the whole series is amaaaazing. One of those you just can’t put down.
Audio: Retribution by Sloane Kennedy, Narrated by Joel Leslie
I love the whole series so far (in audiobook form, i don’t have time to actually read lol)!! Perfect blend of sex, mystery, and hunky hot men. I fell in love with Tate and his son as soon as i started reading. Hawke and Tate’s attraction to each other is very real and emotional. Plus Joel Leslie is top on my narrator list!!
Audio: To Touch You by Cardeno C, Narrated by Charlie David
This series is the first shifter M/M series I have read and what a wonderful series to start on! To Touch You starts touching on many prejudices in the shifter world that mirror real life prejudices. I also looooooove the dynamic between a werewolf and a vampire. VERY steamy.
Audio: Working It by Riley Hart & Devon McCormack, Narrated by Michael Pauley
Another series that when an audiobook comes out, I buy it right away! Hayden and Cody are hot together. Who wouldn’t LOVE to live in Metropolis?! Nummy!! Makes me feel like I am a kid in a candy store!
Audio: Aced by Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine, Narrated by Charlie David
One of my favorite series’! Hot and steamy sneaky sex. Ace isn’t out because of his super stardom. Dylan is a hot underwear model-turned-actor. I laughed hard and smiled big this entire series. But Aced was for sure the best book.
Audio: Tart and Sweet by Amy Lane, Narrated by Philip Alces
Tart and Sweet is my favorite book from this series so far. Cy is adorable, free and fun-loving and totally helps Robbie overcome his past and his demons. I also need “candy man’s” special kind of candy shop in my life lol.
Audio: A Very Marian Christmas by Lucy Lennox, Narrated by Michael Pauley
Why? Because Marian, duh! And Christmas, love, all the feels and Michael Pauley (one of my top 2 fave narrators btw)!
Audio: Facing West by Lucy Lennox, Narrated by Michael Pauley
I love how Nico slowly falls in love with his sister’s baby. He is adorable and misunderstood. I am glad Weston finally gets off his high horse and starts to realize that. So much romance and “aweee how adorable”. Definitely a feel good story.
Audio: Insight by Santino Hassel, Narrated by Greg Boudreaux
I normally don’t ready mysteries very much, but Insight is awesome. Well written believable world with people with psychic abilities. Nate and Trent have wonderful chemistry together and Trent can truly soothe Nate’s mind and soul. It’d definitely a different gathering together of minds and bodies. I can’t wait to read more of this series as it comes out.
Thank you for the great list! I love audios, some of my fav this year were Femme by Marshall Thornton narrated by Joel Leslie, and Bite Club! By Hal Bodner, narrated by Kitty Hendrix. I would recommend them both
Thank for sharing your list! I’ve read and loved several of them and the others are going to grow my already huge TBR list. 🙂
thank you for sharing your list. Another one of my favorite reads in 2017 was Love’s Tethered Heart by CL Etta
I haven’t done any audiobooks yet, but I enjoyed several of these as ebooks.
Thank you for sharing your list. I’ve read a few on your list though none in audio.
haven’t read as many audiobooks this year as I have in previous years….seems I’ve been missing a lot!
Love TRAINING SEASON, cool to know the audio is good! Audio-wise, I loved Alan Cumming’s YOU GOTTA GET BIGGER DREAMS and Armie Hammer’s reading of CALL ME BY YOUR NAME.
I dont do much audio. Loved Training Season in the written word, so a possible buy in audio for me!
The only other book i have on the list is Insight which I haven’t got to yet
Thanks for sharing your faves – I think we’re going to be friends, lol! I love to find a reviewer that likes the same types of books as I do, help so much with future recommendations. (A few of these were on my best of 2017 lists too). If you haven’t read Bonfires by Amy Lane – it was my #1 this year. Best wishes for 2018.
Thanks for your tops. I read Insight and agree about how good it is. Now I’ll have to look into Retribution.
Great list, those are some amazing authors. My last great reaf of 2017 was Zercy by Kora Knight, I loved that book. I will re-read it soon.
