This is the beginning of a new year! It’s filled with possibilities. I love the idea of getting to start new. But really, we don’t need to wait until the new year to do that. We can start new any time we want. 
My hope for this year is that things will calm down in our country. I’d love to go back to a sane way of doing things. I think this climate of ignoring the other side has to change or we’re doomed. Besides, compromise and considering other people’s opinions is important. That’s how we stay civilized and happy.
I’d like to be more organized this year as well. I know a lot of authors have white boards where they write everything down. I never seem to do things like that. And to be honest, being too organized about my writing kind of takes the joy out of it for me. I prefer the spontaneity of new stories coming to me and then I just write them.
