Sometimes, one stubborn Capricorn is all it takes… to drive Wesley Hidaka to crazy, flirtatious lengths.
Wesley loves annoying his RA, Lloyd Reynolds. He just can’t help it. Lloyd is focused, decisive, grounded. He has this amusing ability to follow rules.
Of course Wesley wants Lloyd to break one… or three hundred.
Sometimes, one smirking Gemini is all it takes… to have Lloyd laying down the law and marching Wesley straight back to his dorm room.
It doesn’t stop Wesley teasing again. And again. And again…
But damn. Lloyd doesn’t crack easily. He’s full of principles. He’s unshakable.
He’s the perfect friend to have when Wesley needs help. Like with his truant brother and his old high school principal.
Sometimes, one little lie is all it takes… to find Wesley fake-engaged to his off-limits RA.
What can he say? It seemed like a good idea at the time…
REVIEW:
Anyta Sunday’s name, like a Pavlovian response, fills my heart and soul with the most amazing feels and my mind with a book-loving excitement, a heartwarming, content feeling and a promise of an amazing, slow-burning, emotionally charged love story. If you are a fan of the author, you know what I mean. If you are new to her you can start with any of her stories and you will experience what I am talking about.
Gemini Keeps Capricorn is no exception. This is another gem I will cherish again and again when the right mood strikes. Although this story is the third book in the Signs of Love series, it can totally be enjoyed as a standalone.
Anyta Sunday has a signature style with lovable young adult characters, a slow burning love, fantastic chemistry and the best feels along the way. Her writing is phenomenal. No matter these signature elements all her stories are different. They are based on the same principles but all are unique with some truly memorable scenes and details that make each story one of a kind and amazing. The whole cast and crew here is wonderfully put together from the secondary characters to the family members and situations.
Wesley and Lloyd make a super-cute couple and their banter and chemistry make this book a true gem. They represent my favorite troupe of from best friends to lovers and I love them together.
The plot-line is entertaining and fun with some serious, thought provoking elements woven into it and it is all soaked up in the best slow burning romance imaginable. The story flows effortlessly and we get sucked into the life of these two young men.
The story is told from Wesley’s third person POV and the humor woven into the plot gives an extra layer of awesomeness to the whole atmosphere. I enjoyed every minute of this book but there is a point in the second half (without being able to pinpoint it) where it turns a definite reread for me.
On a side-note I should say that the coffee related puns between chapters are brilliant and made me snicker each time. Highly recommended.
