I was thrilled to see one of my all time favorite series being re-released with the third book coming out, so I couldn’t wait to reread Tom and Mischa’s amazing journey.

What happens when an experienced Dom mistakenly starts flirting with an almost virginal young man. What happens when said young man is seriously interested in kink. I tell you what happens. Lots of sizzling hot kinky sexy-time is what happens. We are able to witness how Mischa is teaching all the kinky ways of BDSM to young Tom and this story tells us the journey they take together as they get to know each other,  as they explore their mutual love of kink.

This is some well written BDSM you will get here. If you are not into that kind of thing this is definitely not a story for you. We get it laid down pretty thick, so be warned. On the other hand, if you are a BDSM fan you will be in seventh heaven.

I first read this story when it came out years ago and it was part of my initiation to this amazing world of all things kinky. This was the book that introduced me to CBT, sounds and many more, so it has an extra special place in my heart.

I would say dig into this series if you love sex, especially the kinky variety (we are talking some seriously sizzling sexy-time) and a story that evolves around the characters and their deepening connection. The scenes are well structured, all with their own purpose. The build up is great and we can feel the forming, deepening relationship between Mischa and Tom.

Most important of all this story gets us into the intimate relationship that can develop between a Dom and his Sub. The emotions, all the details are wonderfully written and the chemistry and tension between these two are truly palpable. It all deepens and gets more serious when tragedy strikes and Tom and Mischa have to work extra hard on their love for each other. We get a HFN ending and if you are interested in what happens next, you should definitely pick up Happily Ever After to read more about these two guys.

This is definitely my kind of old school love story spiced with BDSM with no unnecessary distraction just two guys getting to know each other through their mutual passion for kinks and discovering how much they complete each other. If you are like me, you will love this book. Highly recommended.
