This is the first novella about Alpha Clay and Omega Aiden in Making a Family, which takes place in a non-shifter Omegaverse world and contains mpreg (male-pregnancy).

REVIEW:

This is the first installment of a serial story and I have to say that it was a cute, fast read. I found myself getting into their story. Aiden…a young omega who is estranged from his family because he’s taken in his unmated, pregnant beta sister to help her out during and after her pregnancy. Aiden wakes up to his sister gone and he’s left with the baby. Aiden us struggling to figure out how he’s going to be able to take care of the baby and work to support them both.

Clay is an Alpha who is making his mark in the world. He’s also the oldest child and hasn’t really been home since he left to go to college. Now invited to his sister’s wedding with no one to go with…he just needs a family to make him look stable for his family. Clay has been seeing Aiden come in to work at his flagship coffee shop and has always found him intriguing. Clay is just this really sweet, wonderful man who is really trying to make a living and yet, he’s a good man. Clay comes up with the idea to use Aiden and the baby pose as his family while at his sister’s wedding. Once there…well, life happens and what to do?

There is so much going on in this story. You get so many different emotions coming at you in such a short time period…I was wondering how I could possibly wait for the next installment…lucky me…4 came all at once…yeah!!! I’m not really one for serial stories as I am totally into immediate gratification and want to read everything all at once. I’m not one to wait for something every month…hell…I binge watch shows after the season/series is over.

This story was a great little teaser to get you sucked into the serial story. I was so intrigued and wanted to know what would happen next…where would Aiden & Clay get up to next… I love the plot in this story. I love the tropes of “fake marriage” and how it turns into true love.   So, now waiting for the next installment!!
