REVIEW:
In Fountain of Beauty, Mr. Lyhne carries us forward with the story of the young hero, Daniel who we’ve been following since he ran off into the city for a photo shoot and ended up a prisoner of the Cubi, a race of Incubi and Succubi living amongst us. Things have certainly changed for young Daniel over the course of this series, and he is now the prince of the Cubi who live in what we know as the United States and Canada.
Those of you who have been following along with this series will remember that each one ends on the turn of a page. I believe the author just has an open document and gets to a certain point and thinks to himself…good place to chop this one off…and that is the end of the book! Again, with this one we have the same type ending, or non-ending as it were.
I’m going to brutally honest here. I really like this author, and the author’s books. I’m not 100% sure though that I loved this particular installment. Let me explain. As this series goes on, or maybe it has always been that way and I just overlooked it, the erotica/sex aspect seems to take over the entire book, with a story just fitting in between the sex scenes. I would have really liked more story. I actually found myself yawning at one point when yet another group orgy scene started.
In summary. I love the author and the author’s works. This one didn’t completely do it for me for the reasons I’ve stated above. Does that mean I won’t read the 5th installment when it comes out? Try to stop me! 😊
I recommend this series to anyone looking for a more erotic paranormal series. Meraki knows how to write sex scenes…trust me, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re not into erotic reads, check out the author’s other series, Chronicles of an Earned, which I’m impatiently awaiting the next installment of.

Thank you for the honest review…. I’m not sure about this one. I like erotica, but this sounds more like PWP, and besides, I do not appreciate an abrupt ending so…
Hmm…sounds like there’s potential, but I do like closure!
