REVIEW:
Well erotic was mentioned and erotic it is, let me start with that. The blurb doesn’t mention that but I had some extra info so I was aware of that. That being said the blurb should mention this is above anything a very specific erotica novel.
For me personally I would even say a little bit too much erotica for my liking but this story kind of grabbed me and really made me want to continue reading this. I want to know more.
I became fascinated by the character or Torin but to be honest even more by the character of Davies. I am really so wanting to know his story and please let him have his HEA, I keep wondering what more there is? Maybe even a menage? But I am drifting off topic.
To be fair there are some issues with this story. I mentioned already it is a bit too much and if I wouldn’t have been grabbed by these two men’s personalities, I would have stopped reading fairly early in the beginning. If you are offended by dirty talk or if you are not into explicit m/m erotica you definitely have to pass on this one for sure. That was the least favorite part of the story for me.
I loved the connection between Torin and Davies though and the way they reacted to each other. The author made it more personal with each meeting and each meeting had more depth and involved something new.
Me being a romantic, I would like to have seen more of this part which also left me hugely surprised by the ending the author worked up to. I could go with the ending the author provided and even thought it was well thought out but for me I am left feeling something was missing. Without spoiling to much let me keep it on I would like to read more about all the characters named in this story 😉
I was positively surprised by the details the author provided and I will definitely keep an eye out to see if there is another story coming because like I said I hope the author gives me as a reader what I am looking for 😉
Summing up, if you like erotica, lots of man on man action, dirty talk and surprising characters then this is a story you might want to check out for sure. If any of those criteria doesn’t work for you, you might want to take a pass on this one.
