Love Bytes says hello and welcome back to author BA Tortuga 🙂
Hey, y’all! I’m BA Tortuga, resident redneck and country music junkie. Hollis is a hard-core, country-fried rocker who’s had a few too many sausage biscuits and beers. His management has hired him a trainer. Grins
A sort of wicked trainer. One that likes his green on his downtime…

Dude, Vegas had been a bust.
Vegas.
LA.
Santa Barbara.
Oakland.
Fucking Salt Lake.
Well, okay. Salt Lake was a gimme. They didn’t let queers in Utah.
Still.
Damn.
Jeremy pulled hard on his joint, watching the world fly by the window. If he didn’t get a bag of gummi bears or a good, hard fuck soon, he was going to blow a vein.
Seriously.
He didn’t see how Hollis fucking did this thirty-two weeks a year. He was about to go out of his fucking mind. Or die of blue balls because, damn. Six weeks with him and Hollis was looking fine.
Flat tummy.
Tight ass.
Thighs like tree trunks.
And that jawline?
Shit.
He slid his hand down his belly, chuckling as his mind landed on Hollis’s belly that was utterly more hairy than his waxed one.
It shouldn’t be sexy.
It shouldn’t.
It was, though. Damn.
The little door to Hollis’s bedroom sprang open, the man himself appearing as if Jeremy had summoned him. Naked as a jaybird, Hollis started toward the kitchen but stopped dead when he caught sight of Jeremy.
Well, fuck him. Okay. Okay, act casual. Real casual. He dropped his hand, hiding the joint and his hard-on, all in one motion.
Okay. All you have to do is stand up and make for your bed.
Up, Simba.
“You’re up early,” Hollis said, rotating his neck and bouncing on his toes.
“Late. Tomorrow’s my day off, remember?” Up. Up. Head to your bunk before something catches on fire. “I’ll head on. Night.”
“Night. Make sure you put that joint out. Don’t want to set the bus on fire.”
Oh. Damn. There were two options—talking or not, and he went with not. No lies. No excuses. No nothing.
See him.
See him head to bed.
Go him.
Jesus Christ.

Much love, y’all.

Living in Fast Forward blurb:
Acclaimed musician Hollis Lee is a little bit rock, a little bit country, and a lot in need of some TLC to mend the years of hardcore partying that threatens to ruin his career. Hollis’s manager, Charlie, has the perfect solution in mind.
Personal trainer Jeremy is even-keeled and nothing if not professional—which means doing his job, getting Hollis back to his fighting weight, and ignoring his fierce attraction to the rock star.
Turns out Hollis has a harder time resisting Jeremy than giving up sausage biscuits and cheeseburgers, but succumbing to temptation could end both of their careers. While Hollis is on tour, no one questions Jeremy’s presence, and that means plenty of time to sneak away for some steamy fun on the tour bus. But when an accident separates them, how will they sustain the relationship that’s starting to mean so much?

About BA Tortuga
Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy’s Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her basset hounds and her beloved wife, texting her sisters, and eating Mexican food. When she’s not doing that, she’s writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. BA’s personal saviors include her wife, Julia Talbot, her best friend, Sean Michael, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee.
Having written everything from fist-fighting rednecks to hard-core cowboys to werewolves, BA does her damnedest to tell the stories of her heart, which was raised in Northeast Texas, but has heard the call of the high desert and lives in the Sandias. With books ranging from hard-hitting GLBT romance, to fiery menages, to the most traditional of love stories, BA refuses to be pigeon-holed by anyone but the voices in her head.
