Josh Sheehan is unlucky in love and now… newly unemployed. He’s not sure what to do next, but he’s sure he should give up on romance. Especially after last time. His friends warned him that falling for the hunky Irishman was a bad idea. Josh can’t help feeling torn even though he knows it’s best to move on. But when an unexpected dose of family drama blindsides him, Josh finds himself leaning on the one man he’s supposed to forget.
Finn Gallagher is driven by success. He makes no secret that building a name for his tech company is his number one goal. Finn left home a decade ago with a ton of regret, a heavy heart, and a vow to never repeat the same mistake twice. However, there is something undeniably appealing about the self-deprecating man with the silly sense of humor that makes it difficult for Finn to remember why falling for Josh is a bad idea. It soon becomes clear they’re both in deeper than they intended. There is no way to remain untouched. And there is so much to gain, if they’re brave enough to lean in.
REVIEW:
Leaning Into Touch is the fourth book in the Leaning Into series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. We have met both characters in Leaning Into the Fall and I couldn’t wait to see what the writer came up with and how these guys get their happily ever after. If you haven’t read the previous stories, you still get to understand everything here in connection with our MCs but might have less fun with all the secondary characters, who already got their stories. Either way I recommend you to check out the whole series.
Ok, so back to Josh and Finn. In a few words… I freakin love this couple and their story has a unique atmosphere and overall feel that makes this book a really special reading experience. I adore how the author is able to create so many different and intriguing couples. Josh and Finn share an over the top sizzling hot kind of chemistry from the very first moment. We can call it lust at first sight but I have a feel that was definitely love at first sight. They had already had a six month affair before our story has even started and they already parted ways. A series of chance meetings bring them back together and we also get glimpses of their shared past. However, the main focus of this book is how they build a solid friendship, and how they help each other overcome new and old struggles.
Finn and Josh’ connection is truly special. Their emotions are palpable and their deepening feelings are beautifully portrayed. I love this kind of situation where nobody understands the emotions a couple share. It gives a very unique feel to the atmosphere and makes the love story truly precious. So this is the kind of love you can expect here with amazing feels, plenty of very sensual and heartfelt sexy-time and quite a bit of inner struggles with some twist and turns in the family front.
This book is a wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait to read Grant’s story. Highly recommended.
