BLURB:
Beau Bradbury has it all. He’s good looking, owns a lucrative business, and has an endless supply of hunks vying for his attention. His uptight personal assistant shouldn’t rate a bleep on his radar, but there’s just something about Adam that Beau can’t resist.
One night of drunken passion leads to nearly a year of secret trysts during office hours. Adam keeps his private life confidential, while Beau pretends to want nothing more than a good time. It’s a good arrangement, until a simple phone call ruins the status quo and makes Beau green with envy.
Frustrated that Adam might be seeing someone else, Beau tries to put his attraction to the younger man behind him. However, all that changes with the introduction of Adam’s son. Instantly smitten with the sweet little boy, Beau is all the more driven to claim Adam for his own. All he has to do is convince his wary lover to open his heart and trust that there’s more to Beau than his playboy persona suggests.
REVIEW:
I have to say I found it hard to find words to put in this review. When the story starts you are kind of thrown in regarding the “relationship” between main characters Adam & Beau and that kind of threw me off for a bit if I am honest. I did remember a scene in the first book where Cody mentioned something but otherwise it felt like I was missing something, like starting a story in the middle.
The story basically is about these two men twisting around each other in a sexual way obviously but you know there is more to the story. When Adam’s son joins the party it is interesting to see the different dynamics of both men.
I liked how the author tried to show different views and how she threw in a bit of drama to make the whole thing come together but for me it was just an okay story.
After the first book I was really looking forward to reading Beau’s story but it left me a bit unsatisfied and feeling like the author could have done more with it.
I also would have loved some more interaction between Cody & Dante and Beau & Adam. We see some of Cody but that is it and this series could have really benefited from some inter-relationship stories but as I said that is my own opinion.
Overall the style of the author is very enjoyable and you will enjoy yourself with this book especially if you like the more erotic novels. For me it was okay but nothing more.
