LENGTH: 268 Pages
RELEASE DATE: September 18, 2017
BLURB:
Jack Mason—graphic designer and unrepentant player—has never been interested in monogamy. He certainly isn’t looking for romance when he meets Professor Colin Sloan.
Newly single and not looking for anything serious, Colin is intrigued by Jack’s offer of a physical affair with no strings attached. Becoming friends wasn’t part of the plan, but as accidents go, this one’s pretty great.
Peter Mason is Jack’s identical twin. In a long-term relationship himself, Peter tells no one that he’s falling for his brother’s newest favorite, even as the secret creates tension with his girlfriend.
When Peter’s relationship falls apart, he seduces Colin, fully expecting Jack to forgive his transgression. But Jack is keeping secrets too—he hasn’t told even Colin that he’s fallen in love. Suddenly the twins are feuding, and Colin is caught in the middle, blindsided by the revelation that he doesn’t want to choose between them.
Now all three must find a way to share, or they’ll tear each other apart.
REVIEW:
Well, well, well.
Three men in one relationship that’s split into two parts – kind of.
Covet is something a bit different and a bit complicated and I very much enjoyed it.
Jack isn’t interested in settling down, in fact he isn’t even interested in seeing the same man twice so nobody is more surprised when he meets Colin and one date turns into many. Colin is recently single and isn’t interested in a relationship for very different reasons but a no strings friendship with a side of sex is perfect for both of them and that is where they find themselves…..for months.
So bear in mind that Jack and Colin are friends with benefits in an easy going and very open relationship when Jacks twin brother Peter finds himself newly single and lip locked with Colin.
Even though you knew what was coming the tense build up was great, as was the first time all three men were in the same place when something sexual happens. I should point out that nothing sexual happens between the brothers. There are some very real problems to overcome though before this odd relationship can move forward and all three men can be happy.
I really enjoyed this one and if you are looking for something a bit different I would highly recommend giving Covet a go.
