REVIEW:
Well, this one wasn’t anything like I thought it would be. I’ve always been drawn the the BDSM stories where there’s a bit of an age gap, involving two people who couldn’t be more opposite. Reading the blurb for this one I was really looking forward to seeing how this interesting storyline would play out. Almost immediately I could tell something wasn’t working for me. The characters were off almost like their personalities were forced. Outside of a scene I didn’t really believe Logan as a Dom but in the scene it was totally believable so the back and forth was off putting and took me out of the story. I also struggled with liking John as a character, there wasn’t anything that really endeared me to him and that was also a bummer for me.
After his divorce from his wife John is at a point in his life where he wants to explore his sexuality and his attraction to other men. He also realizes there’s a submissive side that his new tenant Logan brings out in him.
In a situation where he has to find a new place to stay rather suddenly Logan becomes John’s tenant and both decide to act the on the curious attraction between them.
Logan and John embark on a very new beginner stage D/s relationship. Logan is a patient Dom and teacher while John is eager for approval and praise. Their scenes were ok, hot but not anything mind blowing.
I don’t know, maybe this was one of those types of things where I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to enjoy this one.
Needless to say these are 2 great authors but this story just wasn’t for me.
