REVIEW:
The Rules is definitely one of the best MMM stories I have ever read. I am a big fan of menage and other poly stories. The whole dynamics of these kinds of relationships just intrigue and fascinate me, so I was looking forward to reading this book since I read the blurb. I definitely wasn’t disappointed.
I was totally hooked from the very first moment and knew right away I have found a true gem. This is the kind of book that is impossible to put down. I was eating up the pages and was glued to my kindle till the very last page. What an amazing journey. If you like menage stories you are in for an unforgettable treat here.
I love Jamie Fessenden’s stories. He has a great writing style and this story just has a wonderful flow that wouldn’t let you to stop reading. The portrayal of the dynamics of a three-way relationship is masterfully done here. We get the ups and downs with the various emotional states shown in between.
The plot has a beautiful arc with a great build up, amazing feels and the realistic portrayal of the changing relationship among these three men. The deepening feelings are beautifully written and the balance of emotion, sex and suspense is in perfect proportion. The chemistry among these guys is palpable and sizzling hot. The intensity and sensuality of the sex scenes are complementing the whole story and they clearly show the emotional development that is happening throughout the story.
Those who need, please read the trigger warnings, but don’t let them scare you away. This is a beautifully written story of an unconventional relationship done with great care and heart. You will get the amazing feels and a heart full of love and all the warm and fuzzies. Highly recommended.
