REVIEW:

Cinnamon Eyes is a true gem and a future regular reread in my book. I picked it up because of the title (obvious reason), fell more for it after reading the blurb and completely head over heels while reading it. Nell Iris is a new author for me but I’ll make sure to read everything by her. The writing is flawless with a great flow and the story just blew my mind. I adore the best friends to lovers scenario so I was in absolute heaven here.

This is a relatively short novel but has all the elements of a memorable read. We get to witness a unique reunion of two friends who haven’t seen each other for sixteen years. We get the info bit by bit and can put the picture together. I loved the pace, the amazing feels, the hot and loving chemistry as well as the palpable emotions.

This is a true feel good story, so if you are looking for angst and excitement this is not your story. On the other hand if you are looking for a fairytale love story with true love spiced up with some family drama and heartfelt reconciliation, this story is definitely perfect for you. Highly recommended
