Jaden Matthews has never known his father or his father’s family, but he’s about to get a crash course on having siblings. With the recent passing of his grandmother, he’s discovered he has three half-brothers and part ownership of a gym. In Serenity, Florida. His life in New York has hit a rocky road, so maybe this is the vacation he needs to get things back on track.
Chase Michaels lost his future in a car crash almost ten years ago, and he’s made a new one for himself in Serenity. One that doesn’t include getting emotionally involved with people who are just passing through. But Jaden makes his common sense flee and his gut react. He’s got one month with the man who made him believe in taking a chance.
REVIEW:
The quiet ones always seem like they’re the wildest in bed. I’ll admit to not warming up to Jaden until I was well into this book. Meg Harding really built Jaden out quite well, in my opinion. Even though I was frustrated with him at first I loved how once he got comfortable, his personality really sparkled. Not to mention how this seemingly quiet, shy boy turned into a dirty talkin’ porn star in bed…I loved how the story progressed and he came out of his shell. Finding Home showcases amazing supportive characters set in a close knit, picturesque small town. This story started off rather slow but it did pick up and became quite an enjoyable read.
Jaden Matthews recently found out his late grandmother left him an inheritance. Jobless, and recently divorced there’s nothing holding Jaden back from meeting his brothers and learning about his late grandmother. Leaving the hustle and bustle of New York City, Jaden finds himself in the small town of Serenity, Florida. Jaden is not use to how open his brothers and his friends are. He’s shy and struggling with opening up. That doesn’t stop the crush he’s developed on his brother’s best friend, Chase.
After meeting Jaden, Chase is intrigued and attracted. Knowing Jaden is only in Florida temporarily; Chase still wants to take the time to get to know him.
Both men find their attraction only growing stronger with each passing day. Jaden grows confident and open in Serenity. But he knows he has to deal with the life he left in New York before he creates a new one with his brothers and Chase.
Chase and Jaden sweet attraction was just perfect for the story. I loved how Jaden came into his own and was really living his life and not just going through the motions. Great plot, characters…and all the animals…especially Magneto and Jade….awwww…so sweet.
Such a sweet story….recommend.
