BLURB:
Twenty years after the Outlaw MC series, their children may not know the cost of war but they will know terror when Mars starts to reject humanity.
President of the Outlaw MC of Mars has a son—one that matches his temperament and the ability to find himself in trouble. Arie likes the notoriety a biker club offers, but being the oldest son of a founding member are big shoes to fill. When a quake makes the sleepy city on Mars rumble, Arie and his best friend Kavin are drinking in an off-limits spaceship. An unexpected kiss, followed by the quake, makes for one hell of a mistake. They take off without any ability to control the ship. Their destination? Earth.
There’s a lack of clothing, earth animals, and a growing relationship that leaves Arie confused about his future, but none of that compares to the dangers. Arie must now face a beast that nearly killed his father, and a love he never saw coming.
REVIEW:
So, interestingly enough I actually was gonna purchase the Outlaw MC books as well as the Sons of Outlaws looks. They were a new to me author and they sounded pretty good. I’m glad that I had this chance to read the books, because it was a fun, quick read with a great amount of action and sexy times!!
Arie has trouble following him around like it’s his damn shadow and boy does he rock it. He’s fun, charming and full of badass!! I liked that Arie wasn’t perfect. He’s young and he’s brash…but this guy is one who you’d totally love to have your back when trouble comes a calling!! I really like Arie, even though he’s unsure of becoming the Head of the Outlaws, he’s got what it takes to command. He’s true and will stand and fight for his club and those whom he cares about.
Kavin, well Kavin is this sweet guy who has been Arie’s best friend since they were little and he’s always had a thing for Arie. I liked that even though he’s wanted Arie forever, he never let that get in the way of being Arie’s friend. Kavin hasn’t joined the MC and I’m still not sure why…it was never explained that that kinda bothered me…but it didn’t distract from the story. Kavin was along for the ride with his bestie and he’s right there during the whole deal. Kavin is just sweet and kind and yet, he’s got balls of steel when the action was going down. Standing by his man and even though he was scared, he was right there fighting to survive there Earth adventure.
I’m just gonna say that the sexy times in this book and yes, they were really freaking hot…were well done and didn’t overwhelm the story.
I have to say that there was plenty of action in this short story and I’m actually really surprised that I was so drawn into this story and wanting to see what was going to happen next. I mean, really…this book is 83 pages and yet, I was hooked from the first words until the book ended and I was really sad that the book was over. Now…I’m gonna have to read the rest of the series so see what is going on with Mars as well as the kids of the Outlaw MC!!!
Well done, James!!! I’m pretty damn hooked and can’t WAIT to read the next book!!
