Stig Minton doesn’t remember what virginity felt like. Twelve years older than Ryder, he’s been around the block too many times to count and has the scars to prove it…both physically and mentally.
But as these two men come together to help with a wedding, they forge a friendship, a friendship they both desperately need. As their relationship evolves, feelings go deeper. But is it stupid to risk this new—and, yes necessary—bond in pursuit of something that’s doomed to fail?
They both think they’re too broken to make this work. But what if they’re wrong?
Two broken souls may just be able to find reparation in one another.
REVIEW:
Found at the Bookstore is the second story in the Found series but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. I haven’t read the first book but meeting Mac and Tommy here, I decided to get their story as soon as possible. This is a wonderful series with amazing writing, unforgettable characters, exciting plot-line and all the great, heartwarming feels imaginable. This book is a true page turner and I couldn’t put it down.
I fell in love with the story and our MCs right away and their connection and relationship is one of the best, most unique I have read in recent memory. I truly enjoyed every aspect of the story, and Stig and Ryder took their rightful place in my heart for good.
I am a real sucker for characters like Ry. He is a brilliant young man living with the effects of a TBI. He creates breathtaking art when his brain glitches then doesn’t remember a thing. His chance savior, Stig also has a very intriguing personality. They form a seemingly unlikely friendship but they truly need each other in the most desperate ways. They have explosive chemistry and their feelings towards each other are palpable. I loved every minute of their adventurous journey with the ups and downs, all the heartache and obstacles. The only thing I was missing is a bit more background story for Stig. I just would have liked to read more about his past.
The pace was just to my liking, the build up was perfect, nothing was rushed, everything had its purpose and there was no unnecessary angst. It has the perfect balance working your mind, heart and soul in equal measures with emotions, excitement, sexy-time and some serious food for thoughts.
This is a wonderful love story of two guys struggling on their own but finding the perfect lifeline in the other. You definitely shouldn’t miss it. Highly recommended.
