REVIEW:
I love Greek mythology and was really looking forward to reading this book. Instead Of an enjoyable read, I found I was very disappointed.
This is probably one of the worst written books I have ever read. Much of the information in the book, such as facts, were written over and over again. It irritated me because it made me feel like the writer didn’t think I would remember anything.
It also drove me crazy that certain things were explained and shouldn’t have been. Like we don’t need to know every single step someone takes. It can be generalized. Even the sex scenes felt like they were just thrown together and turned me off instead of making me interested.
The fight scenes were not much of anything as all. Tevan is the protector of the town and he takes his job seriously, but instead of it being an explosive battle to draw your attention, it was more like Tevan taunted the bad guys and poof he threw magic at them and it was over. Nothing in this book drew me in or captivated me and I’m sad to say I found myself skimming over the words because I was bored and just wanted the book to end.
There is nothing I can explain about this book that would appeal to anyone and it has made me not want to read anything further from this author. I definitely will not be picking up the rest of this series.
