A warm love bytes welcome to author SJD Peterson (Jo) joining us today to talk about her newest release “Somethings Brewing at Joe’s”. Joe talks about her very busy shedule and brought with her a giveaway to one of our readers!
Welcome Jo 🙂
Looking Ahead
Something’s Brewing at Joe’s is the first of many new releases I will have over the next several months. I have been a very busy Jo J This next year is going to be very busy and I’m super excited about what’s happening. Here is a peek of my release schedule:
Remember When – Coming August 2017
Tufted and Tatted – Coming September 2017
Romance Redefined – Coming November 2017
Roger – Coming December 2017
Going Off Grid – Coming February 2018
Back From the Edge – Coming April 2018
Calculated Magic – Coming June 2018
I told you I’ve been busy 😉 I have a head full of ideas and who knows what will come next but I’m pretty sure my future stories will include more warlocks, Vikings, rouge chickens and plenty of happily ever after endings.
With as busy as I’ve been, I plan on taking a couple weeks off from writing. I’ll still be working on edits but need some time to clear my mind before diving into the next one. I’m going to explore the new city I moved to, want to take a day trip to the mountains, the beach and visit Savannah to explore the history. What about you? Any summer vacations plans?
Leave a comment and one lucky winner will receive an ebook copy of any book from my back list. Good luck and Happy Summer!
~Hugs~
Jo
Something’s Brewing at Joe’s
The promise of a dream job lures Murphy to Tampa, but he arrives to the rude awakening that the offer is on hold. Now he’s got two choices: slink back to Michigan with his tail between his legs or stay and look for work. Things perk up when he goes into a coffee shop and learns the owner is looking for someone to renovate the apartment above it. He happily takes the job, only later realizing he’s met Joe Sterling, Kaffeinate’s proprietor, before… when they hooked up at a club Murphy’s first night in Tampa.
Murphy and Joe are both proud, passionate, and outspoken. Neither is looking for a relationship, though they can’t deny they go together as well as coffee and doughnuts, in spite of their tempers. But that’s before Joe learns Murphy will be working for the corporation he believes is harming local businesses and the environment—and if Murphy will be supporting it, Joe wants nothing to do with him, dooming any possibility of an unexpected happy ending.

SJD Peterson, better known as Jo, hails from Michigan. Not the best place to live for someone who hates the cold and snow. When not reading or writing, Jo can be found close to the heater checking out NHL stats and watching the Red Wings kick a little butt. Can’t cook, misses the clothes hamper nine out of ten tries, but is handy with power tools.
I love that cover, so gorgeous – look at those eyes! Congrats on your latest book release. It sounds so delicious (on top of that face and coffee cup). I’m adding it to my wishlist! 🙂
Congrats on your new release, Jo. Love the cover.
Congrats on moving South; I’m SO envious! You’ve been very busy indeed with writing and moving so far away. I second the praise of the book’s gorgeous cover, and the premise sounds intriguing. What would you do if your newfound crush was on the opposite side of something you believe strongly in? And you find out after falling for them? Whether it’s politics, religion, or whatever. Will definitely have to check this out. Congrats on being able to take a break and explore your new neighborhood. Although it may be just a tad hot in Georgia in July…. 😧

You’ll love Savannah! It’s a gorgeous city.
I have to agree with Didi, those eyes… I’d buy coffee from him and I don’t even drink it! I love the angst in the plot. This sounds so good!
Summer plans… well I’ve already driven to Iowa to give my mom a surprise 90th birthday which was a smashing success, if I do say so myself! Then I’m reading, reviewing books, cleaning out the attic and preparing for a trip to Florida, Bamff and down the Pacific Coast.
Congratulations on your new book! Woe! So many books coming! I can’t wait!!!!
Heading to SF (for some museum shows) and San Jose (for the Sharks’ prospect scrimmage) for a couple of days tomorrow…
Wow! You really seem to have a lot of work ahead of you, luckily for us readers! Anyway, you certainly deserve your trip to Savannah… My summer is going to be a quiet one, I plan to stay at home, sunbathe and read… Relaxing is what I need after a stressing year at work. But I’m planning a trip to Milan (Italy) in September! 😉
congrats on your latest release 🙂

Congrats on the release and the great cover. You will love Savannah, it’s a beautiful city filled with history. I am planning a trip to Toronto later this summer. I haven’t been there for a few years and am looking forward to going back again.
Congrats on the new release. I know this will be just as good as the others I’ve enjoyed.
Wow, congratulations on your new release and to all those books I to look forward to reading. I am just having a quiet summer this year, so no vacations, so just some time to catch up with my reading.
Congrats and what a list of things to come! I’ve already had my summer vac – a month in DC while my husband was in a play, ending with our one-year anniv.
