REVIEW:
Kade and Cameron is the sixth book in the Something About Him series but can be read and loved as a standalone. A.D. Ellis is a new author for me but she has a new fan for life that’s for sure. I enjoyed this story immensely and I can’t wait to grab all the previous books.
As the foreword exclaims, life writes the craziest, most exciting, most unexpected scenarios and good fiction can form those extraordinary situations and characters into entertaining books. As the writer explains at the beginning, most of the plot and characters of Kade and Cameron’s story are based on real life events and people with some necessary creative changes. What we get is a gripping, heartwarming and absolutely lovable story of finding love when you least expected, the joys and ups and downs of parenting, the power of family and the unbreakable bond of friendship.
This is also a well built, wonderfully structured and paced love story and represents my absolute favorite troupe. The best friends-to-lovers scenario is something I can’t get enough of and here I got everything my heart and soul desire. The writer is a master storyteller and I am truly happy to have found her. I really enjoyed the way Kade and Cameron explored sex together. They had fun and shared some truly hot and sensual sexy-time. The parenting angle was also very well written and mirrored my idea of raising kids so I loved both dads all the more for that.
If you enjoy stories with strong characters with a broken heart and some explosive chemistry, lovable children and the obstacles of coming out, divorce, crazy ex, and starting over, this is a great read you shouldn’t miss. Highly recommended.
