What’s next for Anchor Point?
Now that Chief’s Mess is out and Rank & File is on the horizon – what’s next for Anchor Point and its inhabitants?
After Rank & File, there are four more books planned, three of them in various states of completion. The series probably won’t go past ten books, but there will be at least eight total.
Currently on the docket (dates subject to change):
Going Overboard (February 2018) – An accident investigation and departmental politics threaten the growing relationship between a couple of harbor patrol cops when they need each other the most.
Slam Orders (April 2018) – A high-ranking officer gets a second chance at saving his career and falls hard for a bitter ex-Sailor who wants nothing to do with the Navy or its people, no matter how hot… or insatiable… or really, really hot…
Wash Out (May 2018) – When a training injury puts and end to his Navy SEAL prospects, all he wants to do is forget about his dream and move on. Which would be a hell of a lot easier if his new boyfriend hadn’t just signed up to be a SEAL.
What comes next? Well, that’s anyone’s guess. What Navy-themed romances do YOU want to read?
About Chief’s Mess
Anthony Talbot is in Anchor Point to visit family, but after two days of strife, he needs a break. A local gay bar is calling his name.
When Chief Noah Jackson sees that red head stroll into the club, he immediately wants him. They’re perfectly matched, and before long, they’re burning up the sheets. Noah can’t get enough. Anthony can’t stay in Oregon for long, but as soon as he leaves, he’s counting down the days until he can fly back for more. And between his increasingly frequent visits, there’s always phone sex, sexting, webcams . . . anything they can get.
But Noah’s got a carefully crafted façade, and Anthony can’t help noticing the slowly forming cracks. The scent of alcohol in the middle of the day. The extra drinks at dinner. The hint of red in his eyes. Anthony knows what it means. He doesn’t want to believe it, but he’s seen this before, and there’s no denying it. If Noah doesn’t get his downward spiral under control, he’s going to lose both his career and the first man he’s ever really loved.

About LA Witt
L.A. Witt is an abnormal M/M romance writer who has finally been released from the purgatorial corn maze of Omaha, Nebraska, and now spends her time on the southwestern coast of Spain. In between wondering how she didn’t lose her mind in Omaha, she explores the country with her husband, several clairvoyant hamsters, and an ever-growing herd of rabid plot bunnies. She also has substantially more time on her hands these days, as she has recruited a small army of mercenaries to search South America for her nemesis, romance author Lauren Gallagher, but don’t tell Lauren. And definitely don’t tell Lori A. Witt or Ann Gallagher. Neither of those twits can keep their mouths shut…
LA.’s backlist is available on her website, and updates (as well as random thoughts and the odd snarky comment) can be found on her blog or on Twitter (@GallagherWitt).
To celebrate the release of Chief’s Mess, one lucky winner will receive their choice of two eBooks off L. A. Witt’s backlist (excluding Chief’s Mess) and a $10 Riptide Publishing store credit! Leave a comment with your contact info to enter the contest. Entries close at midnight, Eastern time, on June 24, 2017. Contest is NOT restricted to U.S. entries. Thanks for following the tour, and don’t forget to leave your contact info!

Since I’m yet to start this series, I don’t think I’m cut out to suggest anything… ;-). But I don’t think I read much of older pairing in M/M and I don’t mean May/December. More like: December/December, wouldn’t that be interesting.

Maybe a basic-training romance between cadets…

Navy themed romance… How about a Seal and a helicopter pilot who flies rescue missions… I can see that going into all sorts of dangerous places…

Although I haven’t read book 2 in this series, I loved Just Drive. The Navy setting, with a May/December-type romance, had an organic feel that really worked for me. I read the book in one sitting, and did an immediate reread so I could savor the story and focus on the depth-of-character and the nuances of the plot. Looking forward to continuing the series. Congrats on the new book!

Congrats and thanks for the what’s next. Navy romances? I love historicals, and I don’t know if you’ve thought about doing a navy historical. My fav time is the age of sail, but a good era might also be WWII. –
