Thank you very much to Love Bytes Reviews for hosting the cover reveal for A New Way to Dance.
I love the cover for this one. It’s dynamic. It’s got a dancer, and it’s got chains. That seems like a wonderful marriage of two seemingly disparate things that both feature in the book. Seth is a dancer, and both he and Brooke are into BDSM.
I’m so excited to be sharing my latest all new novel with everyone. I hope you enjoy the snippet below from the first chapter.
Sean
smut fixes everything
Blurb:
Dancer Seth Avery has it all. He’s at the top of his game as a dancer and he’s n love with famous dance director Fayden DelMonaco, the man who is his sub. Seth’s whole world is turned upside down when Fayden dumps him in the nastiest and most public way possible. To compound matters, he’s in near fatal car crash shortly thereafter that leaves him severely injured.
Brook Turner is an ex-lawyer turned micro-brewer, baby-brother of Seth’s best friend Lizzie. The two met briefly before Seth’s accident, but it’s when they meet again six years later that they get a chance to act on the attraction they’d initially felt.
With Brook’s help, Seth begins to heal not only from his residual physical injuries, but also from the emotional ones inflicted by Fayden. Will it be enough to keep the two of them together?
Join Seth and Brooke as they find a new way to dance together.

Brook nodded, then reached for the bottle Lizzie had left on a nearby table. “More wine?”
“I… Sure. One more. I’ll catch a cab home.”
Brook filled the glass up for him.
“Thank you.” Seth knew Lizzie would make sure he got into a cab safely.
“I still think you’d like my beer,” Brook said.
“I probably would. I love a good brew.”
“I make good ones. I’m perfecting them, in fact.”
“Does it take long?” Seth asked.
“Varying lengths. Depending on the type.” Brook leaned forward and began to tell him all about it, face and hands animated.
Seth had to smile. How charming was that?
Brook paused and chuckled suddenly. “I could probably go on all night.”
“That’s okay. Passion is a good thing.”
“Yeah. I guess you know all about that. With the dancing and all.”
“I hope so.” He needed to go home. He really did.
“You hope so?” Brook tilted his head.
“Sorry. I should probably get a cab, Lizzie, and head home.”
“Are you sure, honey? You can stay here.” Lizzie’s expression was knowing.
“No. No, I need my bed. Thank you, though.”
“I’ll drive you if you like,” Brook offered.
“Oh, that wouldn’t be fair. You stay and visit with Lizzie. I bet there’s even dessert.” He stood, swaying a bit, then kissed Lizzie’s cheek. “Thank you, lady. I needed a night off.”
“I’ll walk you down—make sure you get in the right cab,” Brook suggested.
“That would be nice, thanks, man. I don’t drink often.”
“No problem.” They went down the stairs together, Brook steadying him a couple times when his feet were shaky.
“Sorry.” He lectured himself. This was ridiculous.
“Relax, man.” Brook’s hand was warm on his back.
“Yeah. Yeah. Just a long day.”
“You sure you don’t want me to just drive you home?” Brook asked as they hit the front doors.
“Oh, I can’t interrupt your visit. I’ll be fine. I promise.”
“Okay.”
The cab was waiting for him and Brook got him inside, made sure the driver had his address, and then he was alone, moving through the streets.
He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. Two months ago he would turn left there, head into the hills to Fay’s house.
His home.
Now he had a tiny apartment surrounded by actresses waiting tables and models who washed cars.
Go him.
He sighed, lifting his head as light flooded the cab with brightness. “What the fuck?”
He heard the cabbie scream about a second before the whole world went dark and stayed that way.

My hubs at 64 discovered contemporary dance, and has since gone on to both feature & cameo in festival performances. Choreographing some of his own works and for a group of 60+ called Grey Panthers. Best I can do to support him is read some of these dance romances, LOL
Sounds interesting. Thank you for sharing the excerpt!
