REVIEW:
Well, this is getting frustrating…
I honestly don’t think it was a fluke that I truly enjoyed the first two books. I think this serial series has amazing potential but for some reason the last two books have left me feeling unsatisfied. Even as Wilder and Sterling are growing stronger as a couple I’m not quite sure of anything else around them.
There are still so many questions about this world Rosa Swann has created and it’s leaving me frustrated. The ending especially, not to give too much away but I find that whole last scene so unbelievable that it tainted the entire story.
Not to mention the fact that Logan is still a complete mystery, Sarah’s reaction seemed a bit overboard, Logan’s parents are completely ridiculous and Sterling’s backbone is all but non-existent.
I have high hopes still. I feel like the first two books left me feeling pretty good. I needed to know more. Now I’m apprehensive and I just don’t want any more ridiculousness.
Very much still interested in Book 5 of this serial…haven’t given up….
