Proposals don’t come with instructions.
Walter Lucas knows his boyfriend has been looking forward to the newest movie about a certain snow princess, but he isn’t prepared for the reality that is the front-row seat of Kelly Davidson’s cartoon obsession. There’s more going on in November than just the movie, however—Walter’s been working up the nerve to ask Kelly a certain question. When Walter set up his elaborate Thanksgiving marriage proposal, it seemed like such a good idea, but as the holiday, the movie premiere, and the question Walter never dreamt he’d be asking anyone converge…let’s just say even Hollywood’s best couldn’t sing and dance their way out of Walter’s tangle.
REVIEW:
Very short and very sweet Frozen Heart gives us a further look into the lives of Walter and Kelly from Love Lessons, book one in this series. If like me you have read it before it is definitely worth a revisit for the new bits!
Walter wants to pop the question and bravely chooses to do so whilst feeling hemmed in by numerous family members who are visiting to celebrate Thanksgiving. At the same time Kelly is going into a major meltdown over the latest Disney release – Frozen is just about to hit the big screen.
Although the proposal is sweet it’s the two boys sitting holding hands in an old theatre watching a Disney film that echoes their own lives that makes this novella special for me. I loved the way Walter reached a sense of peace whilst watching a Princess thaw her frozen heart.
One last thing to mention is the slightly kinky cosplay that involved a bit of bondage with a wig! Honestly, go get it you won’t be disappointed!
