As a prince of demons, Sytri’s existence has been for one thing, power. He’s gained that in the demon realm, but his pursuit of it cost him something far greater…something he didn’t realize the value of until it was gone. When he first met vampire prince, Basil Warrick, in an instant he saw—and desired—to have once again all that he’d lost; friendship, companionship…love.
Basil has lived for more than three hundred years, and quietly carries the scars left by the vampire who turned him. Connecting with others has never been easy for him, but Sy’s sensual charm is more than he can resist. He knows Sy’s history of betrayal, and the demon is exactly what he shouldn’t want in his life, and yet, Sy is all he wants.
The return of an old enemy of Basil’s brings painful memories and danger to him, and a new enemy of Sy’s threatens to take away what he’s gaining in his life. If their lives are to be eternally bound, the two princes must overcome the threats and challenges before them.
REVIEW:
Loved!
This third book of the Paranormal Nobles series by SJ Frost was such good fun. Not only did we get Sytri and Basil’s story but we got to spend a lot of on page time with the other couples from the series and their interactions with each other bordered on hilarious some of the time. As well as a love story this one focuses on friendship and fixes one in particular that went wrong in the past.
Sytri is your typical demon in that he lurks in dark places, isn’t all that well liked by his peers and has airs and graces that often don’t make him all that appealing. He has lived a long time, he holds a tenuous grip of his ranking in the demon world and when he first met Basil he realised suddenly just how lonely his life had become and how few people he had it in that mattered.
Basil was delightful from the beginning and outwardly you can’t see the scars that this 300 year old vampire carries – but they are there and they haunt him. Having been warned by his friends about Sytri’s less than stellar behaviour with his previous lover he still can’t help but be drawn to the charismatic demon who seems to be offering everything that Basil has been missing and desires. However, nothing is ever simple and just as Basil and Sytri get to know each other a bit better Basil’s past comes back to haunt him and he finds himself in a desperate bid for survival.
Demon Prince moves the overall series storyline forward whilst giving us another well fought for HEA. SJ Frost has long been a favourite author of mine and this series is definitely one I would recommend. Sal and Witchie Poo remain my favourite couple of the series for now…..

I’d love to read this but it’s just too much money for the amount of pages. Maybe there will be a sale one day.
