Hello all, it’s Matt again!
Well, it has been quite momentous few weeks for me. My reviews for The Butcher, the Baker, the Custom Bike Maker: The Custom Bike Maker, Cotton’s story told me I hadn’t lost it and people still liked my writing. I poured a lot of the pain of the last year into that book and I can say that I was quite pleased with it. It also linked Alex, from Love and Salvage: Loving Emmett and explained, shockingly, some of his history! More will be revealed in the next book, Slippery as a Snake: Rory’s story. I hope to have it out in the next few months. It will answer question about Cormac, Mike Wirzbowski, Rory and Maeve.
But I am jumping ahead. I am also proud of the fact that my book, Love and Salvage: Loving Emmett has been translated into French as is doing quite well on Amazon: France. Avaritia is coming out next in French, so to all my prospective French readers, hang on, it’s going to get fun. I am also starting the next chapter of the Oswalds and due to the long space between the books, I had to reread my own stuff to get back on track.
I found writing again to be very difficult. My quiet stable life had changed and I’m trying to find my footing. Never fear, I still writing but not in the volume I was doing before. I plan on finishing all my series and once done, I’m taking a break. Not a long one, but still, I’m taking time for me and on the advice of my friend Patty, changing it up and trying my hand at something new!
Cheers!
Enjoy your break! I loved your ‘Renovating’ series so maybe you can get some inspiration along those lines…unless Patty really has a better idea!
