OH MY FREAKING LANTA!!!

I just had to get that out of the way, cuz…Holy Shitballs, Batman!!!  Charlie done put her foot in this story!!  I sat down yesterday to read this book and was like…You Go Gurlene!!!

Sebastian…this man is just about the sweetest, most loving man that you could possibly find!! Seb has been in love with Hudson for years…we all know that.  The way that Seb feels for Hudson is just so damn beautiful. Seb has taken lots of shit from Hudson and yet, he’s still there for him. Seb would do ANYTHING for Hudson.  He’s such a good man and I just absolutely ADORED him!!! I like that we got to see more inside Seb and who he is as a person.  I loved how he’s all about his family and the job that he does. I like that he’s just this all around good guy who wants to finally get his HEA. Which he totally deserves.

Hudson…I’ve always liked Hudson…however, he is such a conflicted man.  He wants Seb…he really does. He loves him so damn much, yet, he seems to be under the illusion that they can’t be together because of what happened.  Hudson knows that Seb loves him and that as his mate…he’d do anything for him. Hudson comes from old money and he is the black sheep of their family.  The person who went against the grain and wanted his life to mean something.  Hudson was disowned from his family after his older brother died and they felt that it was his fault.  Hudson is that person who on the outside seems so damn British…stiff upper lip and all that, however, that is the furthest thing from the truth there is.  Hudson is a good man and I believe that he just wants his mate and to still do good things and make this world a better place.

The action in this book was just GREAT!! Charlie brought it ALL out for her readers. I can’t even begin to tell you just how the first words drew me in and kept me hooked until I finished the story.  There are some AWESOME surprises that to find out…I kinda picked up on them…as I’m stalking this series and I pay special attention to ANYTHING that Charlie does or says in her stories about my boys. I was so hooked while reading this story…I gave dirty looks to my phone or my Bestie when they made noises that pulled me out of the story.

I’ll say that Charlie added some new peeps in this story and some…I liked and others…well…they should be thrown in a vat of acid.  You’ll see what I mean when you read this book, because…of course you’ll read this book…it’s a THIRDS book!!

When Hudson was going through some stuff…and talking about his past…I figured out pretty damn quickly where Charlie was going with it and I’m happy to say…yeah me…I was right!!

Don’t worry…you get to see our favorite pals…Dex, Sloane, Cael, Cal, Hobbs, Letty and Rosa.  Don’t think I forgot about My Book Boyfrien…yeah…that’s right…Ash is in the story.  Not a lot…but enough for me to keep giving this story 5 Hearts…cuz…you know I Love Me Some Ash!!!  Bless His Heart!!  Dex actually plays a big-ish part in this story…so never fear…you’ll get some cheesy-doodle lovin guy in this book.

Charlie has again written a well thought out, action packed story that truly pulls you into this world and doesn’t let you go until the very end…and even then…you’re left wanting more.  I have to say that I’m really looking forward to the audio version of this book…I can’t wait to hear Mark Westfield’s narration.
