REVIEW:
I liked this one; it was both what I had expected and completely different at the same time and I just love stories like that. 🙂 Jordie made a deal with the devil and every three years a new demon comes calling in order to collect a payment. The latest demon on his doorstep, Mal, is different however; he makes Jordie feel things beyond the physical and the music he bargained for has never been clearer. When Mal confesses that his time with Jordie is more than just the regular collection of payment, Jordie freaks out and sends Mal away, afraid he’s being tricked and that the feelings inside him for the demon aren’t real. It takes another demon wanting to make a deal for Jordie to realize just what Mal means to him and that he’ll have to move quickly if he doesn’t want to lose the only thing more important to him than his music.
This was a nice little story; there was plenty of hot sex (always a plus) and I really liked how the musical elements were woven throughout the story. Mal’s true nature was the surprise for me but it just made the story so much better as it changed this from being your ‘typical’ demon story into something different. If you’re looking for a quick little paranormal pick me up that’s a little light on the plot and heavy on the porn, this could be the story for you.
