  1. My favorite place to spend a vacation is not one place, but many different places really. I love to go on a cycle holiday. Cycling from hotel to hotel.

  2. This might sound cliche but my favorite place to spend vacation is not where, but whom I get to spend them with: my favorite – closest and dearest – people. If we got to spend it somewhere special, that’d be cool, too. 🙂

  3. I have two tendencies. If I’m feeling adventurous, I like to travel to any place I haven’t seen yet, mostly capital cities of Europe. but if work has been stressful and I’m tired, I love spending my holidays quietly reading at home

  4. Closest I’ve come to a vacation are the few days time off I get after an operation. xD So I really don’t know if any of the things I want to do would be at all enjoyable.

Right now my favorite idea for a vacation is either a week long train ride to see the leaves change color across the country. Or a three night stay at the Ice Hotel in Canada.

  5. I love to go away and visit new to me places on vacation but i also love to spend my vacation at home just the feeling that you are free and can enjoy some relaxing time is heaven 🙂

  6. I live right on the coast in a seaside town, with countryside and forests nearby. I’m very lucky so I don’t ever really feel the need to leave home. 😊

  7. I’m a city person, so give me any urban center with great public transportation and I’m happy.

  8. I don’t usually travel. When we do it’s usually the next state over for the beach. We actually rent out a beach house for a week.

  9. I love leaving Texas so almost anywhere will work… My favorite locations so far that I’ve been are Hawaii, Vancouver, Montreal, Seattle (WA), Portland (OR), Monterey (CA), Estes Park (CO), NYC, Bar Harbor (ME), and Washington, DC. I want to go to every country in Europe!

  10. I’m really a homebody so I never feel a great desire to get away, but when I do, I enjoy it. I think getting out of the city and into nature is my favorite. Luckily I have a lot of national and state parks close by.

  11. I went to Kyoto during cherry blossom season with a friend once. That was awesome and we could afford it, since we were in Japan as exchange students at that time. Would love to go again. As soon as I have save enough money I probably will. Otherwise I usually don’t travel a lot. I the “my home is my castle” type of person.

  12. I enjoy going to different places, but my fav is Padre Island, TX. I went there on family vacations as a kid, went there to chill after I first came out, and some good times there with my now new husband.

  13. I don’t have a favorite place. When I travel I try to visit places that I haven’t been before. And sometimes it is outside my country and has been planned months before. So all of those places become a new exciting experience
