REVIEW:
Wow. Let me say if you have not read the first part of this series, you need to do so before reading this book. If not, you will be lost.
The boys are back in this final installment and I for one am sad that this series has ended. Maybe with some cajoling, Ms. Wells will grace us with a short story to see how their lives have progressed in 10+ years.
Ms. Wells could not have named this book any more perfectly. Through everything these men as individuals and as couples have gone through, they have grown so much. They have learned that life gives you some nasty ups and downs sometimes. But the biggest things they have learned is how to stick together through thick and thin. They’ve learned to depend and rely on each other, and have learned that sometimes it’s ok to not be ok. Through it all they have clung to one another as couples and as close friends and have shown that with love and the right people you can get through anything.
This story hit home with me as a parent especially because a parent does anything for their kid. As Will and Blake learn. No matter the circumstance you do everything possible for your kids. That’s where they grew. At first they thought life would be perfect with their children, but life isnt perfect.
Each couple had different circumstances that caused them to see that life isn’t perfect and through struggles you grow. And learn more about love and strength. It brought them together and even with the struggles they still were romantic and loving. That’s a lesson for everyone and every couple.
As with all K.C. Wells books, the writing in this one is exceptional. This author always manages to draw me in. With this particular series, I felt as if I was in the book with the characters. I laughed when they laughed, cried when they cried, and rejoiced at all the good that came through the challenges they faced.
I loved this series and absolutely adored this book. I’m so glad I got to go on this journey with Will and Blake, Ed and Colin, and Rick and Angelo. I felt as if they were my best friends and I was living their lives right alongside them. I recommend this book if you have read this series up to now, and if you haven’t please go out and get started right away. A perfect ending to this series.
