And just because I feel like it just do a random giveaway 🙂
I was going through my incredable giveaway list and tought lets give away something nice on this Sunday evening (at least in my time zone 🙂 )
So tell me what funny thing did you do this weekend?
The prize is a $5 amazon gc donated by Miss Riley Hart!
LOL! I bought socks 🙂 I returned a puffy coat I ordered but then it never got cold enough to wear it so I took it back and bought socks 😀
It was about 22 degrees here and I started crocheting a scarf. Well, I know I am ready for the winter.
It rained all week -still raining- so I stayed at home and read.
I had lunch with my family, then spent the afternoon helping my six year old niece “create” wonderful perfumes using whatever flowers and leaves we found in the garden… It was fun! 😉
Last night my husband was finishing up a movie and I watched the last 30 minutes with him even though I had never seen the rest of it. And I still actually enjoyed it.
It’s been a volleyball tournament weekend around here, so no time for anything else. But apparently the funniest thing I said all weekend was when I told my kid she needed to clean her room (she really does). She thought that was hilarious!
I actually videos my cat having a dream of some sort sounding like a squeaky toy!
Video recorded!
It’s been so warm this weekend and my cat has decided that every time I leave my chair in front of the computer she will sit in it and when I return an hour or so later I have to lift her out of the chair (she will not move get down by herself) remembering to not get my hands bitten as I do so! So maybe more fun for her and not me!
I went to my nephew’s 21st birthday party. On the way back I saw a whole heard of cows chasing a fox through a field. I guess cows don’t share?
I ran errands yesterday and today, and watched hockey on TV last night. Both days I’ve been surprised by guests, so I’ve had to let a few things go by the wayside. Can’t think of funny offhand for once…
How about just catching up on emails from March 26th! We took a short trip back east and am now discovering all the free books I missed while I was gone. So (not) funny I’m crying!!!
Thanks for the “funny” giveaway. This may be more a happy moment, than a funny one, but my new husband (partner for 14 yrs this month), is an actor in Chicago, but he just got a really good role in the Tony-winning play “The Father” at the internationally known Studio Theater in D.C. We’ve celebrated, and today was when he left for D.C. Quiet around here now, but I’ll be going to visit a number of times in a fave city of mine.
I tweeted out a very silly poem about reading and tweeting. About how I was too busy reading and tweeting to write a poem about it. 😉 I don’t know if anyone else thought it was funny, but I live to amuse myself!
Uhm, I went to watch Beauty and the Beast at the theater. Unfortunately I didn’t love it as much as I did the original animation 🙁
I took a walk with my sister and visited with my nephews and niece. I got to hear my two year old nephew argue with one of his parents and win the discussion. It was epic 🙂
Tried a Greek yogurt based sauce, which didn’t work so well. Oh well.
I spent some time in the park since it was so nice. The kids running around everywhere made me smile but the funny part were the people in a paddle boat on the lake who kept almost crashing into things. Mostly I was just happy to be outside.
I was just hanging around at home. The weather was april-like (sunshine, clouds, rain) and I didn’t feel like doing much. Cleaned my flat, played some WoW and read a bit.
I went to a dinosaur park exhibit at one of the metroparks with friends
I don’t know if it is funny but we went shoe shopping for our youngest son 😉 And because it was such nice weather i did some reading in my garden (now that was definitely fun)
Maybe some folks would think it was funny that I was gathering worms to put in my flowerpots, lol.
