This year started off pretty awesome. There are so many books I would like to read that I literally don’t know where to start.
From those I have read “Skim Blood and Savage Verse” by Angel Martinez and “Single Malt” by Layla Reyne are my favourite reads so far.
Books published before 2017 I enjoyed are the “Wake Up Married” series by Leta Blake (so much love <3), the first five books of the "Psycops" series by Jordan Castillo Price, "The Lightning-Struck Heart" by T.J. Klune (simply hilarious), "Hexbreaker" by Jordan L. Hawk and "Beta Test" by Annabeth Albert.

Hmmm. Two books come to mind that really surprised me by how much I enjoyed them. The Mystery of Nevermore by C S Poe had me literally laughing out loud, no easy task with me. Insight by Santino Hassell had me hating to put it down, which I had to do because I finally got to do a buddyread with my bestie, and we compared notes via email after a few chapters. It really drew me in and was my first paranormal book featuring psychic abilities.

I’m actually *way* behind on my m/m this year, but (even though the noncon scene would usually bother me) I found KA Merikan’s THE BLACK SHEEP AND THE ROTTEN APPLE really compelling…

Tal Bauer’s Executive Office Series is my choice of the year for best books. I was riveted by this story and on the edge of my seat for three whole books! I even stayed up until 3am one morning until I was still too exhausted to continue. What a ride! Also enjoyed “There’s This Guy” by Rhys Ford. Very touching, romantic and stayed in my thoughts after the end. Others I found remarkable were “Thick and Thin”, “Imago” and “Leaning Into the Fall”
