REVIEW:
Nine-tenth of the Law was one of my favorite stories when I read it after its first release a few years ago. It was very interesting to see how my taste and reading habits have changed since then. This is still a very good read but my priorities must have shifted during the past years.
We get a unique opening scenario and the way our MCs meet is quite extraordinary. The focus of the story is how these two guys can work through the strange circumstances of their chance meeting and how their amazing chemistry and strong pull of attraction can help them form a lasting relationship.
Nathan and Zach have the kind of chemistry we can just dream of and experience it if we are very very lucky. They are so powerful and explosive together that their sex scenes show palpable tension and amazing feels. That being said the sex was a bit too overwhelming for me this second time. If you are new to this wonderful world of man on man love this is a great, eye-opening read for you. There’s plenty of sizzling sexy-time, very well written and wonderfully detailed, hot, fun and mouthwatering scenes along the way. However, I missed a bit more background of the characters. We get to know them and their circumstances but not really much about their personalities. I would have liked to read more about where they are coming from and what things they have in common to build a life on other than their amazing chemistry.
For conflict we have some misunderstanding and distrust and a great villain to hate but luckily our MCs communicate sooner rather than later.
The writing is flawless which is great and we also get a fun and very entertaining writing style. I also really liked the epilogue, which pushed this story in the four star category in my book.
You will enjoy this book if you love reading about hot, young guys getting to know each other with lots of detailed, sizzling sexy-time. Have fun.

Yes! I love me some sexy times in my books, and I’m also pretty new to the world of M/M. I think I prefer M/M now over F/M because I’ve found that I hated the heroines 99% of the time. Even now as I read a few F/M books, only with certain authors can I tolerate the women, and when I can’t relate to the heroine I DNF the book. This coming from a straight woman! So I may have to check this one out. Thanks for the review and proving why honesty is best; one reader’s “meh” is another reader’s “yay!”.😉
