Can you be Fearless?
Rory Finn used to have a sinful reputation and a fetish for a certain kind of man–the straighter the better. But since the Mistletoe Meltdown, he’s turned over a new leaf…just in time for his two best friends to start breaking one of the few rules they had–with each other.
The past haunts him, but if he can find the courage to trust them with his heart, and his secrets, he can have the kind of love he’s always needed…from the two people he’s always craved.
Warning: This book has male/male/male nookie. (Gay for you, Pan for you, Bi for you, Try for you.) That’s right, three sexy guys, nerdy references, vampire love triangle obsessions and a game of X-rated trivia that everybody wins. I won’t bother listing all the things they do to each other. If you’ve read the warning to this point and you know the Finn Factor series at all? You can probably guess. *some sensitive elements-past trauma*
REVIEW:
R.G. Alexander is a new to me author and definitely one I plan to read more of. In fact as I write this review I have started this series from the beginning and so far I have enjoyed the books immensely and have become really invested in the loud and funny Finn family. Also, for those of you that like your books with a hot dose of steam – this author excels at raising the temperature!
The ‘Mistletoe Meltdown’ is the incident, which I am assuming happened in a previous book that alters the relationship between Rory Finn and his best friend David. It should be noted that up until this incident David was straight. When you add in their other best friend Rig you end up with a possibly messy threesome but first Rory has to get over the hurt of finding out Rig and David have been together without him – there are unspoken rules in this friendship and David and Rig have blurred the lines.
This is a friends to lover’s story that encompasses jealousy, insecurity, coming out and coming to terms with the fact that the impossible dream you have secretly coveted may actually be about to become a reality – but first the three men need to put on their big boy pants and be honest and open with each other.
There is a serious and sad twist to the story regarding Rory that could see this threesome fail before it really gets off the ground but David and Rig are tenacious when it comes to the man they love and they won’t give up easily. They won’t let him hide any longer – they want to finally help him heal his heart, put his demons to rest and get the HEA with his best friends that he deserves. The Finns look after each other especially when it’s one of their own that has been causing the hurt. There is a huge cast of secondary characters who really add to the story. Highly recommend.
