REVIEW:
Riley Brook is devastated, he’s attending the funeral of his best friend Owen Hazard. Owen was married with three children, he was a farmer with his own land, he loved everything about being a farmer, the land, the animals and the hard work. Everything was just about perfect until Owen caught some local criminals trying to steal equipment from his barn. The thieves didn’t want to use the machinery, they wanted to sell it for scrap metal. The best and worst part of it is that Riley knows who it is that murdered Owen.
Owen’s brother Mark was at the funeral, Mark is a Captain in the Military. Riley has been had a crush on Mark since they were kids and now that he’s seeing him again he realises that he’s just as attracted to him now as he was back then. Mark knows Riley knows exactly what happened to his brother and confronts him after the wake. When Mark finds out it was the same family of thugs as was around when they were growing up he knows exactly what he’s going to do, vengeance will be his! Mark only has a couple of weeks to take care of the thugs that murdered Owen so he sets to work.
Riley and Mark realise that they’re both attracted to each other and find comfort and caring in each other. Riley knows not to fall for Mark because he will be leaving soon and he won’t be back. I recommend that you get a copy of Gods of Vengeance to find out exactly what both Mark and Riley go through to get justice for Owen. It’s not plain sailing, as to be expected there’s violence, torture and a sexual assault. You need to read this story for yourself to find out what happens to who!

34 pages? It’s a short story then. These “books” keep getting shorter. Books, to me, are 375+ pages.
