REVIEW:
It’s not the first time Aaron has been left holding the bag while his twin skipped out, but he can’t decide if it’s the best or the worst.
I would have liked to have seen Roan play up the evil and string Aaron along a little longer before getting to the good stuff. The sex is hot though, and very well written so there is that little bonus.
This short story tried really hard but it was just too short to handle so much storyline. There wasn’t enough time to feel anything but mild interest in Aaron and his demon, although there were some funny bits. The prank they play on Aaron’s twin is one of the funniest.
At 33 pages we barely get a chance to get invested before it’s all over but the celebration sex and maybe that’s part of my problem. The whole thing was pretty much one big, long sex scene with a few plot advances and that doesn’t appeal to me as much as it used to.
I would be interested in an expanded version of this story as I love supernatural beings and things that go bump in the night.
I can’t say too much more without giving everything away, but if you are looking to kill half an hour and like lots of sex, you might like this book a lot. For me, it just falls too short.
