BLURB:
Blue: When my ex walks into the resort bar with his new husband on his arm, I want nothing more than to prove to him that I’ve moved on. Thankfully, the sexy stranger sitting next to me is more than willing to share a few kisses in the name of revenge. It gets even better when those scorching kisses turn into a night of fiery passion. The only problem? Turns out the stranger’s brother is marrying my sister later this week. Tristan: I have one rule: no messing with the guests at my vineyard resort. Of course the one exception I make turns out to be the brother of the woman my brother’s about to marry. Now we’re stuck together for a week of wedding activities, and there’s no avoiding the heat burning between us. So fine, we make a deal: one week. One week to enjoy each other’s bodies and get it out of our system. Once the bride and groom say I do and we become family, it’ll all be over between us. Right?
REVIEW:
After reading the blurb to Borrowing Blue, it got me pretty interested and made me want to take a chance on this book and new author Lucy Lennox. Then, I heard the audiobook was set to be released and lost my ever loving mind. I am such an audiobook junkie that I jumped at the chance to experience this book in a more sensory way. Not only was Borrowing Blue fantastic, the audiobook was even more delicious!
While on vacation before flying off to a posh job waiting for him in London, Bartholomew “Blue” Marian is at the bar of a stunning winery when his ex, Jeremy just so happens to walk in the door. With a stunning twink hanging on his arm. And, wearing a ring on a very important finger. Well, that didn’t take long. It has only been 6 months since Blue and Jeremy broke up.
Good thing there is a tall, dark, and extremely sexy man sitting next to Blue who see’s his distress and kisses the daylights out of him. Right there in the bar for everyone to see. Including Jeremy and his new boy-toy. When Jeremy’s feathers get ruffled, Blue seems to have an interesting dilemma on his hands. Jeremy all of a sudden can’t leave Blue alone, but all Blue can see and think of is Tristan. The thing is, everyone who knows Tristan, believes he’s straight. Including Tristan’s ex-wife.
Okay, as much as I absolutely loved reading the ebook version of Borrowing Blue, I have to say that the audiobook was even better. Michael Pauley did a masterful (and quite sexy) job narrating this book. I mean, hngh… *bites knuckle* I honestly don’t think any other narrator could do Lucy Lennox’s books as much justice as he did. Please do yourself a huge favor and get this audiobook. You will not regret it. Also, do yourself an even bigger favor and get the entire series. It is magnificent, and Lucy Lennox is phenomenal!
