Hello!
It’s exciting to be part of the Love Bytes family to offer up a guest post each month. It’s very cool to start off on Valentine’s Day especially since this is a romance blog and I’m a romance author. Hope everyone has a good book boyfriend line up to read today!
Many thanks to Dani for inviting me over to hang out on the 14th of every month too. She’s a regular contributor to the podcast I co-host with my husband, Jeff & Will’s Big Gay Fiction Podcast, so I’m happy to be contributing for her now as well.
So I figured this first post should be an intro for those who don’t know me.
I’ve been writing m/m romance since 2009 when my first short stories were published. My best selling series is, Hat Trick, a series of three novels and three shorts that tells the love story between hockey players Simon and Alex starting as seniors in high school and going past college graduation. Meanwhile, my latest is short called Love’s Opening Night. It’s about a Broadway dancer who ends up working on a new musical that happens to star his biggest celebrity crush.
As you can probably tell by the plots of those titles, I’m a major fan of both hockey and theater (especially musicals) and I tend to work those in to many of my stories, even if it’s not a major plot point. After all, going to a hockey game or a play can make for a great date night.
Besides writing, there’s also the podcast that I mentioned. My husband and I started it back in November 2015 because we wanted to help spread the word about this genre that we love so much. He’s a writer too (we’re actually co-writing a trilogy that will come out in 2018) and on the podcast we talk about not only what we’re working on, but we also about books we love alongside movies, TV shows, music, theater and whatever else strikes our fancy.
One of our favorite things on the podcast is talking to other authors. As a fan, it’s so awesome to talk to writers to find out more about their books, what their inspirations are, what upcoming projects they’re working on and so much more. I have to admit that sometimes its difficult not being a total fanboy with some of the guests. As an author these interviews are also fun because it’s a peek into another creator’s process and habits.
So I think that’s the basics on what you need to know about me. If you want to know a lot more, you should listen/watch the first episode of the podcast where Will and I told our entire origin story. Or you can ask questions in the comments. I’ll make sure to stop by over the next few days in case there is anything you want to know.
In the meantime, I look forward to hanging out with you all each month.

Jeff Adams loves hockey, musicals, and watching a good dance—so much so he often incorporates those things into his stories. Speaking of stories, creating new adventures and characters is a blast. What he loves most, though, is his husband of twenty years, Will. You can learn more about Jeff’s writing at JeffAdamsWrites.com and listen to Jeff & Will’s Big Gay Fiction Podcast.
