REVIEW:

So, let’s just say that this quick novella starts off with Dex and Sloane doing their thang!! Not that, ya pervs…that they are just working thru some thoughts that are flying around Dex’s brain. The love that these two men have for each other is so damn palpable that if comes at you off the page. I love the way that these two men are two halves of a whole. The way that they feel about each other and the way that they communicate is just so damn sweet and off the charts wonderful that you just can’t help but fall in love with them more and more.

Dex’s relationships with Cael and Tony and yeah…Hobbs is just about the sweetest, most loving that I’ve seen. Dex does his best to talk to these three and try to reassure them that what him and Sloane are doing…is a good thing. That Dex loves them and that they are a family and that never will change. The part with Hobbs was one that hit me in the feels the most as Hobbs is just the sweetest guy in the Whole Wide World and I just wanted to hug him to me and never let him get hurt.

Ash…now my Book BF…The Love Of My Fictional Life…Ash had some good screen time in this book…Thank You Charlie!! You get to see the Ash that I’ve Always known was there and see just how deeply he feels about Sloane, Cael…everyone. I have to say that Ash really is brings it to this story. He brings his love, his fear, everything to this book and lets it all out there. Golly, I just Love Him So Much!!

There was some action in this book and Let Me Tell You…Go Dex!! I’ve always loved Dex’s commitment to his family and when that family is threatened…IT’S GAME ON!!! I love that for Dex really brought out his inner felid to bear in this match and I really can’t wait to see what else comes along with his newest status.

Now…there was a lil sum-sum that caught my eye, Charlie….something about Tony…hint, hint…that was pretty damn cool and WTH…but good job on making my jaw drop. Charlie also threw in a little bit of Sparks and man…I can totally see why the peeps don’t like her. But…something makes me want to believe that she’s not All Bad. Hopefully, I won’t have to eat those words, Charlie….right!?!

The new roles that DD are going to be taken on really were explained and you don’t feel so bad that Dex and Sloane are “leaving” DD.   I liked that Ash stepped up and is going to do a bang up job. I was worried on how Charlie was going to do that, have DD in the new series, but the way she explained it…it really works for me and I know that I’ll get to still see my peeps, that makes me really happy.

Overall, this was a wonderful novella that pushed the story along and I enjoyed every moment of it. I have to say that Charlie really does a good job of bringing up the next book in the series and even gives you chapter 1 of the next book, so it doesn’t seem to damn far away. Pick Up This Book and get ready to enjoy the latest installment of the THIRDS Series.
