REVIEW:
Damn, this book was long. I didn’t realize how long this was at first. Kora Knights writing makes this story not feel as long as it really is. Being 100% invested in these stories and these characters really takes this book to another level. This story beat me down, Max is locked up so tight and his walls are so fortified that I really felt for Sean throughout both books. But no matter how stubborn Max is you can’t help but love him as a character.
Revived takes place not long after book 1 ends. Max, stubborn as ever, continually denies his feelings for Sean but knows he’s getting under his skin. Knowing he should end his sessions with Sean only complicates things more for both men.
Sean puts up and incredible fight for Max. He’s not willing to throw in the towel so he repeatedly gets hurt but always comes back.
We also get little bits and pieces of Scott and Tad in Revived. I didn’t realize how much I needed inside Scott’s head while reading Up-ending Tad but it’s awesome to see how quickly he fell for Tad and the strength of their emotions. I loved Tad’s bravery in owning and living his truth with Scott.
I love these stories and I’m incredibly excited to see what other spinoffs will be coming with these characters. Kai and Beck’s story should be incredible as well because the chemistry between those 2 is off the charts.
Like I’ve become use to with this author she writes incredible characters who have unbelievable connections. This book is so friggin HOT, also. The sex is off the charts, no surprise there.
Overall, it was amazing and I loved seeing Max find his happy and heal. Absolutely recommend to all Kora Knight fans!
