But when they come face-to-face, attraction flares to life between them.
Someone is watching Jack and Chris from the shadows. What starts as a series of creepy encounters leads to deadly attacks.
Jack and Chris must set aside their differences and work together to survive a homicidal stalker. But can they survive their explosive connection?
REVIEW:
This is a new to me author and I must say that although the story was nicely written, it didn’t WoW me as much as I expected it to. It wasn’t that I didn’t enjoy the characters, the chemistry between the characters to me, was non-existent. The blurb made it appear that there was this amazing heat between these two characters and maybe there was but I didn’t see it.
Christopher agreed to work in a friend’s club as a psychic and although the situation is not ideal, it’s a gig. Jackson is the club’s co-owner and he’s less than thrilled with the addition of Chris’s act. He feels that it’s fake and cheesy. The usual ensues: these men who initially don’t care for each other find that they’re actually attracted to one another and start up a relationship.
There is a bit of mystery and suspense thrown in with the use of a stalker and it made for a nice storyline but again, the storyline lacked the WoW factor that I was looking for.
In all, the book wasn’t bad but there really wasn’t anything that stood out to make it truly unique. It wasn’t a bad read at all. It just was not as exciting as I expected it to be.
